As Tech Innovation Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving Baller League's diversification strategy, leading the discovery of high-impact new markets that redefine our product offering and expand our reach into new experiences and customer behaviours.
What You’ll Do
- Develop a deep understanding of user problems, the competitive landscape, and Baller League's competitive advantages in new markets.
- Facilitate ideation and brainstorming sessions to generate early-stage concepts focused on fan behaviour, gamification, AI interaction, and new modes of engagement.
- Engage with internal and external experts to refine ideas and improve concept quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, research, engineering, analytics, commercial) to shape and evolve concepts.
- Map key assumptions and plan testing strategies with research and analytics to validate early-stage ideas.
- Build compelling, data-driven cases for investment in developed concepts.
- Challenge conventional thinking and propose bold ideas aligned with our mission and emerging fan needs.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of developing breakthrough tech product ideas, especially in behaviour, engagement, or virality.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to inspire stakeholders.
- A balance of creative instinct and rigorous problem-solving to assess feasibility.
- Deep experience in consumer-facing apps (B2C), especially those focused on behavioural outcomes or community experiences.
- Curiosity and fluency in emerging technologies, particularly AI.
- Familiarity with customer research, market analysis, and rapid validation methods.
