Job summary

ASOS is seeking an FP&A Manager for Technology to lead financial partnering with senior technology leaders, driving strong financial performance and cost control.

You will own planning, forecasting and reporting for Technology, identify savings opportunities and influence investment decisions with commercial insight.

This role demands advanced Excel and Power BI skills and a collaborative leader capable of delivering clear, actionable insight to Finance, Technology and Procurement.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or equivalent FP&A experience.
• Experience partnering with senior non-finance stakeholders, ideally in Technology, Digital, Procurement or similar.
• Commercial mindset with ability to challenge and influence decisions.
• Experience identifying, quantifying and delivering cost savings.
• Strong planning, budgeting and forecasting capability.
• Excellent reporting/analytical skills to turn data into insight.
• Understanding of business cases and investment appraisal for technology projects.
• Experience managing operating and capital expenditure.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Business Partner for Technology, building relationships with senior stakeholders and providing financially focused advice.
• Own Technology budget, forecast and long-term plan, with robust assumptions and accountability.
• Identify and assess savings opportunities across technology spend including contracts and licensing.
• Maintain visibility of savings/initiatives with tracking to budget/forecast.
• Challenge investment proposals and ensure clear costs/benefits/risks.
• Lead insightful reporting of Technology performance including actuals, forecast, budget, risks and opportunities.
• Provide a portfolio view of major Technology investments and procurement programmes.
• Maintain and improve the financial control environment for Technology expenditure.
• Translate complex financial data into concise insights for leadership.
• Improve reporting efficiency with Power BI and automation.
• Coach/ develop colleagues in Technology cost base and foster proactive problem-solving.
