Job summary

Burberry is seeking a Technology Financial Operations Analyst to strengthen financial governance across our Technology Services portfolio. You will analyse costs, manage accruals and support forecasting, budgeting and supplier billing governance, partnering with Finance, Procurement and technology teams to deliver cost efficiency.

In this role you will produce dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI and cloud cost tools, driving actionable insights and robust spend governance across global

Qualifications

• Experience in FinOps, technology finance or related governance role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, accruals and month-end controls.
• Experience with supplier billing and financial governance controls.
• Ability to analyse large datasets and identify cost drivers.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SAP/Ariba or equivalent systems.
• Experience with Power BI and cloud cost management tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the technology financial governance framework with controls and reporting routines.
• Review supplier invoices, POs, contracts and data for billing accuracy.
• Track billing queries, disputes and commercial risks with transparency to stakeholders.
• Coordinate monthly accrual activity and prepare submissions within deadlines.
• Prepare budget and forecast analyses, highlighting variances and actions.
• Maintain dashboards and trackers for spend, accruals and governance risks.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Technology teams and suppliers to improve data quality.
• Support supplier reviews, budget planning and commercial discussions with financial analysis.
• Identify control gaps and propose improvements to strengthen governance.
