Job summary

Burberry is seeking a Technology Financial Operations Analyst to support financial transparency, cost optimisation and commercial governance across the Technology Services portfolio. The role provides analysis, reporting and governance support across Technology, Finance, Procurement and third‑party suppliers, ensuring accurate forecasting, effective cloud cost management and proactive budget control.

Qualifications

• Experience in FinOps, Technology Finance or related governance role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, accruals and month-end controls.
• Experience with supplier billing, invoicing and governance controls.
• Ability to analyse large financial datasets and identify cost drivers.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP/Ariba; familiarity with BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the technology financial governance framework and reporting routines.
• Review invoices, POs, contracts to identify billing inconsistencies and issues.
• Track billing queries, disputes and commercial risks with visibility to stakeholders.
• Coordinate monthly accrual activity and prepare budget submissions.
• Prepare budget/forecast analyses and highlight variances and risks.
• Maintain dashboards and trackers for spend, costs, accruals and governance risks.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement and Technology teams to improve data quality.
• Support supplier reviews, budget planning and commercial discussions with analysis.
• Identify control gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen governance.
