Job summary

Burberry is seeking a Technology Financial Operations Analyst to support financial transparency, cost optimisation and governance across its Technology Services portfolio. You will analyse spend, manage accruals, and provide budget insights to senior stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Finance, Procurement and Technology teams to improve data quality, govern supplier billing, and drive cost controls across cloud and tech spend.

Qualifications

• Experience in FinOps or a related financial governance role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and month-end controls.
• Experience with third-party supplier billing and invoicing governance.
• Ability to analyse large financial datasets and identify cost drivers.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SAP, Ariba, invoicing platforms.
• Experience with Power BI or cloud cost tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the technology financial governance framework with robust controls and reporting.
• Review supplier invoices, POs, contracts for billing inconsistencies.
• Track billing queries, disputes and commercial risks with transparent progress.
• Coordinate monthly accrual activity and submissions by Finance deadlines.
• Prepare budget and forecast analysis across technology cost centres.
• Maintain dashboards and trackers for spend, costs, accruals and risks.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement and Technology teams to improve data quality.
• Support supplier reviews, budget planning and commercial discussions.
• Identify control gaps and propose improvements to strengthen governance.
