Walsall Council is seeking a Team Leader to drive the Business Growth service within the Investment & Development function, working with the Head of Investment & Development and West Midlands Growth Company to promote investor engagement and deliver growth for Walsall.

You will lead on understanding business needs across key growth sectors, provide targeted support to entrepreneurs, SMEs, and social enterprises, and ensure delivery of a menu of growth interventions that sustain and create

• Lead the development of the Business Growth service including strategic account management and relationships with major employers.
• Understand business needs and develop interventions to remove barriers to growth for local firms and residents.
• Coordinate with partners such as the West Midlands Economic Development Vehicle to optimise outcomes for business productivity.
