Job summary

Beazley is recruiting an Operational Risk Manager in Birmingham to support the Head of Operational Risk and senior risk leaders. The role focuses on technology, cyber risk, operational resilience and third‑party risk, ensuring clear communication of risk to first line teams and stakeholders.

The person will contribute to risk frameworks, policies and incident reviews, while engaging with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with risk management frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of technology, cyber risk and third‑party risk areas.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and providing risk challenge.
• Understanding of outsourcing and supplier risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Risk Manager – Tech & Cyber Risk in facilitating RCSAs with first line risk owners.
• Maintain and improve Beazley’s operational risk framework across identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting.
• Produce risk reporting and opinions on technology and cyber risk topics.
• Contribute to governance reporting for executives, boards and regulators.
• Promote Beazley’s risk framework and ensure timely escalation of risk matters.
