Job summary

St. James’s Place seeks a Senior Audit Manager – Technology & Change in Bristol or Cirencester, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead complex audits across technology and transformation, delivering independent assurance and influencing senior stakeholders in a fast-paced wealth management environment.

You will develop audit capabilities, coach teams, and shape the division's cyber and technology audit programs, ensuring risk-based actions and robust governance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in change assurance or transformation risk management within Internal Audit, Risk, or first-line change environment.
• Deep understanding of technology risks, controls and governance.
• Ability to lead complex audits and assurance engagements.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders.
• People management or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits across Technology, Cyber Security, IT Operations and Change using Internal Audit methodologies.
• Provide specialist knowledge and independent assurance on major technology and transformation projects.
• Plan and deliver fieldwork, test controls, and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Produce concise audit reports to support decision-making.
• Present findings to stakeholders and agree practical actions.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Technology, Cyber Security and Change.
• Monitor implementation of agreed actions and validate closures.
• Lead and support colleagues and co-source specialists on audits.
• Contribute to the technology-focused audit plan with data analytics and automation.
