Job summary

St. James’s Place in the UK is seeking an IT Auditor to join Internal Audit during a time of growth. The role provides exposure to Technology Risk, Cyber Security and IT Controls within a regulated financial services group.

Based in Bristol or Cirencester, you’ll work in a hybrid model (2 days in office, 3 remote). You’ll collaborate with experienced audit professionals and subject-matter experts to deliver technology audits, assess controls, and provide independent assurance over key risks and

Qualifications

• Experience in Internal Audit, Technology Risk or related assurance roles.
• Knowledge of cyber security, governance and IT controls.
• Experience with regulated financial services environments.
• Ability to design and execute audits and report findings.
• Willingness to develop specialist knowledge across tech audit.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of audits across Technology, Cyber Security, IT Operations and Change.
• Conduct audit testing and evaluate control design and effectiveness.
• Review processes, identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Produce clear audit documentation and reports.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Technology, Cyber Security and Change teams.
• Monitor management actions and follow-up.
• Contribute to IT risk focused audit planning.
• Build knowledge of technology risks and industry trends.
• Support data analytics, automation in audits.
• Maintain professional knowledge through learning.
