BPL Trading Limited is seeking a friendly, organised Receptionist to join our Barnsley Metrodome team. You’ll be the first point of contact, delivering excellent service and ensuring smooth daily operations at the reception.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service or reception role is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of cash handling and operating till systems is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, visitors, and members in a professional and friendly manner.
• Handle customer enquiries in person, by telephone, and via email.
• Process facility admissions.
• Undertake cash handling duties, including receiving payments, balancing tills, and following financial procedures.
• Provide information on centre activities, classes, memberships, and events.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure the reception area remains clean, tidy, and welcoming.
• Support the wider leisure centre team with administrative tasks as required.

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our Reception team at our flagship site the Barnsley Metrodome. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our reception area.

Position 1: Average 13.91 hours per week

Week 2: Thursday 13.45 - 19.30

Position 2: Average 22.66 hours per week

Week 1:Monday 07.00 - 12.15, Tuesday 15.45 - 21.15, Thursday 07.00 - 12.15, Friday 10.00 - 14.00

Week 3:Tuesday 15.45 - 21.15, Thursday 07.00 - 12.15, Friday 07.00 - 12.15, Saturday 07.45 - 16.30

Position 3: Casual "as & when required" hours per week
