Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Annesley (Nottinghamshire) is seeking a Team Member CRF to join our Annesley Comp Rotor Facility on a full-time basis. You will process product using machining, inspection and NDT techniques, following engineering drawings and specifications.

The role requires a time-served engineering apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3, plus the ability to work across a shift pattern (days, 2 shifts, 3 shifts or 4 shifts) to match workload.

Qualifications

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 as a minimum.
• Experience in machining, inspection and NDT preferred; full training provided.
• Good numeracy and literacy; safe working practices essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out machining inspection or NDT on blades, discs, blisks and drums.
• Work closely with support functions.
• Maintaining high levels of 5S, housekeeping and asset care.
• Flexible to shift patterns (days, 2 shifts, 3 shifts or 4 shifts) to match workload.

The Role of a Team Member is to process product using various techniques, that require a time served apprenticeship and experience of machining, inspection and NDT, as set out by Technical instructions, Inspection Procedure cards, Engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Accountabilities

• Carrying out machining inspection or NDT, inspection using various Inspection Techniques on a variety of Blades, Discs, Blisks and Drums


• Work closely with support functions.


• Ensuring safe working practices are adhered to at all times.


• Maintaining high levels of 5s, Housekeeping and Asset care


• You must be able to work a shift pattern which can consist of regular days, 2 shifts, 3-shifts or a 4 shift pattern depending on workload. Whilst most areas operate on a 3 shift basis, you have to be flexible to the business needs.

Qualifications And Experience

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship/ NVQ Level 3 as a minimum.


• Previous Inspection experience is preferred although full training will be given


• Good Levels of numeracy and Literacy


• Good eyesight


• Being able to maintain Safe working practices


• Ability to work independently or as part of a Team

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential
