Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Team Member CRF at the Annesley Comp Rotor Facility. The role involves processing products using machining and inspection techniques, supported by a time-served apprenticeship. You will perform NDT and interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 as a minimum.
  • Previous Inspection experience is preferred although full training will be given.
  • Good levels of numeracy and literacy.
  • Good eyesight.
  • Able to maintain safe working practices.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out machining inspection or NDT using various inspection techniques on blades, discs, blisks and drums.
  • Work closely with support functions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times.
  • Maintain high levels of 5S, housekeeping and asset care.
  • Flexible to work shift patterns (days, 2 shifts, 3 shifts, or 4 shifts) depending on workload.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Member CRF to join our team in Annesley.
The Role of a Team Member is to process product using various techniques, that require a time served apprenticeship and experience of machining, inspection and NDT, as set out by Technical instructions, Inspection Procedure cards, Engineering drawings and specifications.

Key accountabilities:
  • Carrying out machining inspection or NDT, inspection using various Inspection Techniques on a variety of Blades, Discs, Blisks and Drums
  • Work closely with support functions.
  • Ensuring safe working practices are adhered to at all times.
  • Maintaining high levels of 5s, Housekeeping and Asset care
  • You must be able to work a shift pattern which can consist of regular days, 2 shifts, 3-shifts or a 4 shift pattern depending on workload. Whilst most areas operate on a 3 shift basis, you have to be flexible to the business needs.
