Job summary

Subway IP Inc. is hiring a Team Member to be the face of Subway stores, preparing and serving sandwiches, greeting guests, and delivering exceptional service.

You will help promote Subway brand awareness while meeting hygiene standards and working as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment. Full training and Subway courses will be provided; a winning attitude and willingness to develop a long-term career in food service are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service desirable but not essential.
• You will receive full training and undertake various Subway courses to support development.
• A winning attitude and willingness to start a career in the food industry are important.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas meet Health & Safety standards.
• Serve customers at the till and maintain high levels of customer service.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with cleaning schedules daily and weekly.
• Follow security and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Represent the Subway brand with high personal presentation and teamwork.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
• Comply with Food Code of Practice
• Till Operator
• Monitoring stock levels
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Follow security & safety procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers
• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet the Subway® brand and customer expectations
• Work as a team member
• Deliver a high standard of service when dealing with products, sales and catering for customer needs.

As a Team Member you will serve and add value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. In this role you will promoteSubway® brand awarenessand ensure hygiene standards are met.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses.
