Job summary

Subway IP Inc. in Bolton is seeking a friendly Sandwich Artist to greet guests, prepare and serve Subway sandwiches, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced shop.

No extensive experience required as full training and Subway courses are provided; you’ll join a team focused on high standards, personal presentation, and helping customers with their orders.

This role offers opportunities to progress into supervisory and managerial positions within the Subway franchise.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales or customer service desirable but not essential.
• Full training and Subway courses provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food storage and prep areas per Health & Safety standards.
• Operate till and handle sales.
• Monitor stock levels and stock rotation.
• Complete daily/weekly cleaning schedules.
• Deliver high standard of service to customers.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
• Comply with Food Code of Practice
• Till Operator
• Monitoring stock levels
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Follow security & safety procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers
• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet the Subway® brand and customer expectations
• Work as a team member
• Deliver a high standard of service when dealing with products, sales and catering for customer needs.

As a Sandwich Artist™ you will serve and add value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. In this role you will promoteSubway® brand awarenessand ensure hygiene standards are met.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses.
