Job summary

Subway IP Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking motivated Team Members to join our Subway® brand stores. You will prepare and serve Subway® sandwiches, greet guests and deliver exceptional customer service, becoming the face of the store.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. You’ll develop through University of Subway® courses and have opportunities to progress into supervisory and managerial roles within our franchise network.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or retail is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas meet Health & Safety and Audit standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Operate the till for transactions and payments.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers.
• Present a clean, professional appearance in Subway uniform.
• Deliver high standard of service for products and customer needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards

As a Team Member you will serve and add value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. In this role you will promoteSubway® brand awarenessand ensure hygiene standards are met.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses.
