Job summary

Subway IP Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking motivated Team Members to join Subway® stores. You will prepare and serve sandwiches, greet guests, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding Subway® standards.

No prior experience required as full training is provided; you will develop soft skills and could progress into supervisory roles. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability and a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve Subway® sandwiches to standard.
• Engage with customers and take orders at the counter.
• Handle till and cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in line with Health & Safety guidelines.
• Stock and rotate products and monitor inventory.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Present a neat and professional appearance in uniform.
• Support teammates to deliver fast, friendly service.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
• Comply with Food Code of Practice
• Till Operator
• Monitoring stock levels
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Follow security & safety procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers
• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet the Subway® brand and customer expectations
• Work as a team member
• Deliver a high standard of service when dealing with products, sales and catering for customer needs.

As a Team Member you will serve and add value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. In this role you will promoteSubway® brand awarenessand ensure hygiene standards are met.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses.
