Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Team Manager to drive results through engaged and productive teams in a fast-paced production environment. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will monitor KPIs, set targets and lead continuous improvement initiatives while coaching staff and managing attendance.

You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent communication, and budget awareness, with the ability to make timely decisions and steer cost controls across the operation.

Qualifications

• Management/supervisory experience within a large scale production operation.
• Ability to challenge decisions to ensure consistent service.
• Proven track record of people management and delivering strong results.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders and teams.
• Assertiveness with the ability to make decisions on the spot.
• Strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
• Understanding of cost models and budgetary control including pest control management.

Responsibilities

More about you

As well as having a strong work ethic, you will also have:

• Management/Supervisory experience within a large scale production operation, ideally across Food Manufacturing
• The ability to challenge decisions and behaviours to ensure consistency in service to our customers, and will demonstrate your ability to problem solve
• A proven track record of people management and delivering strong results through a team in a people management role
• Excellent communication skills
• Assertiveness with the ability to make decisions on the spot
• A can do attitude and a strong work ethic
• An understanding of cost models and experience of budgetary control and understanding pest control management.
