Job summary

SGN in Dundee is seeking a Team Manager (Operations) to lead on-site field operations within budget and safety guidelines.

You will manage SGN employees and contractors across emergency, repair, replacement, connections and competency processes, delivering a safe, efficient service while driving performance improvements.

Role requires a full UK driving licence and a hands-on leadership style in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the gas industry, legislation, and safety policies and procedures.
• Highly motivated with a flexible and positive approach to work.
• Strong leadership, organisational, diagnostic and problem-solving skills; able to act on own initiative.
• Effective communication skills at all levels, inside and outside own team.
• Committed to safety and to providing coaching and leadership.
• Prepared to do extra to support colleagues during high workloads and incidents.
• Primarily field-based on-site driving team performance.
• A full clean UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
