Job summary

Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking a committed Team Manager for the Children in Care Service in Birmingham. You will lead and coach a busy team, oversee care planning and ensure high standards of practice, with a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach at the heart of every decision.

You will implement our connections count model, build strong partnerships with agencies, and drive positive outcomes for children in care and those subject to care proceedings.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Resilient, able to manage demanding workloads.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external partner agencies.
• Good problem solver, supporting practitioners to make best interests decisions.
• Proficient in using management information systems to monitor performance and quality of practice.
• Professionalism, leadership and accountability with strong planning skills.
