Job summary

Waythrough is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead Calderdale Recovery Steps, our Adult Drug and Alcohol Service in Halifax. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coach staff, and ensure high-quality, person-centred support while meeting contractual and performance targets.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, develop strong partnerships with community and partner organisations, and ensure robust safeguarding and reporting practices across the service.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong ability to coach, supervise and manage performance.
• Proficiency with MS Office and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of designated Calderdale Recovery Steps areas.
• Supervise, coach and develop staff and volunteers, including recruitment and induction.
• Monitor performance against objectives, targets and KPIs.
• Develop pathways and build relations with partner organisations.
• Ensure service models and procedures are embedded and followed.
• Manage safeguarding, incidents, complaints and risks per procedures.
• Maintain records and contribute to timely reporting for stakeholders.
• Hold a small caseload as needed and cover across the service.
