Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates Ltd is seeking a Team Manager to lead a small group of Supervising Social Workers within a reputable fostering service. You will report to the Registered Manager for the region, with responsibility across Hampshire.

The role is full-time and permanent, supported by home-based and Hampshire office-based sessions. You will oversee safeguarding, provide leadership and professional development for staff, ensure policy compliance and day-to-day operational support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading social work teams in fostering settings.
• Background in fostering, preferably in private sector.
• Ability to implement and monitor policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safeguarding of children and young people in placement.
• Provide management, leadership and development for staff.
• Ensure that the service complies with the Policy and Procedures.

A large Independent Fostering Agency group who is a multiple service provider are looking for a

Manager oversee a group of motivated social workers and a reputable service in the

. You will be supporting and leading a small team of Supervising Social Workers, and will report into the Registered Manager for the region. This region covers Hampshire and is paying up to £56,000 per annum.

This role is

full-time, permanent position and will be based from home and also office in Hampshire (for team meetings/supervision/training). The ideal Team Manager will have experience within Fostering preferably within the private sector along with management experience.
