Job summary

Advanced Supply Chain Bradford is seeking a Team Manager to lead a warehouse team during the 2pm–10pm shift. You will report to the Operations Managers and drive engagement, organisation and motivation across Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives to meet customer service SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a team and providing ongoing coaching and guidance.
• Familiar with using and operating an in house Warehouse Management System
• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles
• A good knowledge of Health and Safety in a warehouse and distribution environment
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages

Responsibilities

• Understand, and be responsible for all key operational processes and procedures in your area
• Ensure adherence to all H&S regulations – reporting any incidents and near misses via the correct channel
• Analyse data, establish root cause and put in place correct measures, escalating any issues to management team in a timely manner
• Ensure your team have all equipment/training necessary to work productively, supporting and sharing best practice to exceed targets and remain efficient
• Full responsibility for performance management of team, focusing on wellbeing, absence, and performance
• Participate in department and site projects and drive continuous improvement

About The Role

Here at Advanced Supply Chain Bradford we are looking to welcome a Team Manager on a permeant full-time basis working across our 2pm–10pm shift. As our Team Manager, you will report directly into our Operation Managers and will be helping to support them and the wider team by managing the Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives, making sure they remain engaged, organised and motivated. Our Team Manager will be driving and delivering on our expectations, making sure your department are meeting agreed customer service level agreements to allow us to continue delivering exceptional services for our customers.
