Social Worker – Team Manager within the UASC Team in Birmingham, earning £41.42 hourly on an ongoing, full-time basis.

What you will do:

– Oversee the management and supervision of the UASC team to ensure high-quality support and services for unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.
– Lead case management and ensure statutory responsibilities are met in line with local policies and procedures.
– Develop and implement plans for each child, supporting their needs as they transition and integrate into the community.
– Collaborate effectively with partner agencies, fostering relationships that promote the welfare of the children.
– Provide guidance and support to team members, enhancing team performance and professional development.
– Improve service delivery by monitoring outcomes and implementing innovative solutions.

We are seeking a driven and resourceful leader who is registered with Social Work England. Ideal candidates will have management experience, particularly in supporting unaccompanied children as children in care.
