Job description

Are you passionate about leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver personalised, strengths-based support for adults in Warwickshire? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Manager to lead our Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.

About the Role

As Team Manager, you will:

  • Manage and supervise a multidisciplinary team, overseeing day-to-day operations, caseload allocation, and performance.
  • Be accountable for implementing strategies to address performance issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead on complex casework, including adult safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Authorise assessments, support plans, risk assessments, and mental capacity assessments.
  • Approve budget requests for care packages in line with delegated authority.
  • Oversee OT pathways, promoting reablement, equipment, and assistive technology to ensure cost-effective, preventative support.
  • Respond to complaints and quality issues, maintaining strong links with local agencies and partners.
  • Monitor and audit service quality, ensuring best practice and ongoing service development.
About You

You will have:

  • A professional qualification (or equivalent) and current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the HCPC, with substantial post-qualification experience.
  • Experience supervising and managing a team, including conducting formal appraisals.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in complex case management, including safeguarding and multi-agency working.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Experience managing budgets and monitoring financial accounts.
  • A commitment to continuous service improvement and best practice.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. You must be able to work flexibly across Warwickshire and be available to deputise for the Operations Manager as required.
