Job summary

Booths in Garstang is hiring a Team Leader Trading, Duty Manager (18 years+) on a permanent basis. Rate: £13.30 per hour, 36.75 hours per week, with a duty manager allowance of £1.50 per hour. Location Garstang and a requirement to work one weekend day per week.

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer experience, leading a small team, guiding tasks, and ensuring safety records are completed. In the absence of senior management you will act as duty manager.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience required.
• Must be able to work 1 weekend day per week.
• Shift pattern includes early and late hours up to midnight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team and set goals for each shift.
• Provide guidance and lead by example.
• Review safety and legal records to ensure daily completion and act as duty manager in absence of senior management.

Duty Managers allowance: £1.50 per hour for all shifts undertaken as the duty manager

Working pattern:

Must be able to work 1 weekend day per week

Weekdays will be a mix of 8 hours shifts in the window of 6am to 10:30pm

The Role:

Our customers will be your main focus, and everything you do will be with their shopping experience in mind.As Team Leader you will oversee the functionality of a team by determining the goals that colleagues will work towards each shift, providing guidance, instruction on how to approach a task and leading by example. You will be responsible for the review of safe and legal records to ensure daily completion on your shifts. In the absence of senior management you will have the responsibility of duty manager of the store.

Job Description

Due to the requirement of the role you will be required to be flexible in your approach and will be required to start early, work late up to midnight, weekends and public holidays.
