Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd. in Stockport is seeking a Twilight Team Leader to oversee the department during the 5pm–2am shift. The role is temporary with potential to become permanent for the right applicant.

You will lead by example, support colleagues, manage stock tasks, and ensure customers receive excellent service. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for keeping operations smooth and motivating the team.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Good communication and can-do attitude.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to take on responsibility and support others.

• Lead day-to-day running of the department on shift.
• Support colleagues and new starters on the shop floor.

Job description

This is a Twilight Team Leader Role. The working hours are from 5pm until 2am, depending on the day. Both weekend days may be asked to work. This is a temporary role, which can be made permanent for the right applicant. As a Team Leader, you'll play a key role in leading the day-to-day running of your department. You'll lead by example-supporting your colleagues, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure our customers receive the best possible service. Whether it's helping to manage stock, supporting new starters, or stepping in to solve a problem, you'll be a go-to person on the shop floor. You'll work closely with your manager to deliver high standards and keep your team motivated and focused. What makes a brilliant Team Leader:
