Job summary

Fresh Horticultural Careers is seeking a team leader/head gardener for a static site in North London. Immediate start with a 6-month probation; £30-35k per annum dependent on experience.

The role requires a minimum of five years in horticulture, Level 2 (ideally Level 3) qualifications, strong communication, and the ability to manage a daily team of 3–4 staff. PA1 & PA6 training are preferred, with 28 days leave including bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in horticulture or garden maintenance.
• Qualification Level 2 is required, Level 3 preferred.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage a team of 3–4 staff daily.
• Experience on static sites and compliance with PA1/PA6.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 3–4 gardeners daily.
• Oversee horticultural maintenance on a static site.
• Ensure health and safety and compliance with PA1/PA6.
• Coordinate work with site manager and client expectations.
