Job summary

Morepeople 01780 is recruiting an experienced Team Leader in Essex to guide a hands-on crew across horticulture, grounds maintenance and landscaping. You will lead from the front, coordinating daily tasks and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The role offers a long-term progression path, a company van for work use, and Monday–Friday hours. You’ll thrive in a practical, outdoors environment and work closely with an established team.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience in horticulture, grounds maintenance, landscaping or another relevant practical environment.
• Previous experience leading people or coordinating work on site
• Willingness to remain actively involved in practical work
• High personal standards and good attention to detail
• Clear and dependable communication
• A calm and professional manner with clients and colleagues
• Good organisation and the ability to manage changing priorities
• Reliable reporting and record-keeping
• Sound judgement and willingness to accept responsibility
• An adaptable and team-focused approach
• Experience using relevant tools and machinery safely
• A full UK driving licence
