Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking an Electrical Team Leader to supervise, plan and deploy operational staff to deliver works safely and efficiently. You will lead by example, promoting customer service, safe working practices and continuous improvement across the service.

In addition, you will act as the Client’s NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS), providing technical oversight of electrical installations, inspections and testing, ensuring BS 7671 compliance and adherence to NICEIC Approved

Qualifications

• NICEIC QS accreditation or equivalent required/advantageous.
• Experience supervising electrical teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate repairs, maintenance and small electrical projects.
• Manage resources, materials, subcontractors and safety compliance.
• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and overall safety standards.
• Utilise ICT to monitor workloads and improve service delivery.

Job description

As Electrical Team Leader, you will be responsible for the effective supervision, planning, organisation and deployment of operational staff to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. You will lead by example, promoting excellent customer service, safe working practices and continuous improvement across the service.

In addition to leading the electrical team, the successful candidate will act as the Client’s NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS), providing technical oversight of electrical installations, inspection and testing activities, ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and NICEIC Approved Contractor Scheme requirements, and maintaining high standards of electrical safety and workmanship across the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating responsive repairs, programmed maintenance and minor electrical projects.
• Managing resources, materials, plant, transport and subcontractors to achieve service objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with electrical regulations, health and safety legislation, CDM requirements and Client policies.
• Using ICT systems to manage workloads, monitor performance and improve service delivery.
