An exciting opportunity for a Band 7 team leader physiotherapist at a leading NHS trust in Nottingham. The role involves managing outpatient services, treating complex respiratory patients, and contributing to service development and team leadership. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join the newly-formed Respiratory Outpatients Physiotherapy service at NUH as a Band 7 team leader.
We are looking for an experienced Band 6 or current Band 7 physiotherapist with a broad respiratory clinical skill set and a passion for service development and improvement. You will have strong leadership and management skills, with excellent teamwork and communication skills. Proven skills in quality improvement will be an advantage.
You will treat patients with bronchiectasis and dysfunctional breathing disorders in the outpatient setting. Our ambition is to extend the service to other chronic respiratory illnesses in the future. You will work alongside an experienced Highly Specialist COPD physiotherapist to co-lead innovative, person-centred service development.
We are keen to support your progression in advanced clinical practice skills, such as lung function testing and nebulised therapy dose assessments, aligned with your career goals.
You will contribute to the wider inpatient respiratory physiotherapy team and its out-of-hours service. Opportunities for development include regular training, peer/line management supervision, and support from B7 respiratory physiotherapists across medical and surgical specialties.
