Glendale is seeking a Team Leader to join our Maidstone - Barming - West Malling area. The role involves assisting on programmed maintenance, leading on-site teams, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Ideally you will have horticultural qualifications, at least 3 years of experience, and a full driving licence. We offer a competitive salary (£28,710 per year), a supportive environment with career progression, pension, and benefits such as gym membership and health plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in delivering programmed maintenance.
• Take responsibility for on-site works, timekeeping, breaks, and visitor deliveries.
• Lead by example to motivate the team and maintain discipline on site.
• Operate and supervise company and hire vehicles, machinery and equipment with care and ensure daily checks and servicing are recorded.
• Perform other duties as reasonably required by the Supervisor.

Who are you?

• Ideally qualified in horticulture with a minimum of 3 years experience.

• Experienced using a wide variety of small engine machinery
• Good IT knowledge
• Have a full, clean driving licence.
• PA1 & PA6 is desirable.

• Reliable and conscientious and able to work on their own initiative.

A Glimpse into the Role awaiting You

• Assisting the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in the effective delivery of the programmed maintenance.
• Taking responsibility for the works on site, including timekeeping, productivity arrangements for breaks, dealing with members of the public, visitors to the site and deliveries.
• Proactively leading by example, motivating and guiding the team and maintaining workforce discipline.
• Operating and ensuring others operate company and hire vehicles, machinery and equipment with care and that daily checks and routine servicing are carried and properly recorded.
• To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required by the Supervisor
