Baxter Thetford plant is currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our line 7 team. You will work 42 hours per week working 06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00 and you will receive a competitive salary and a weekly shift allowance of £109.86.

Duties & responsibilities

• Organize the teams daily work routine.
• Ensuring focus on delivery, safety & quality.
• Responsible for recording of hourly performance and act when needed.
• Gather data to enable process / reliability improvement.
• Responsible for identifying and delivering process improvement activities & analytical reviews.
• Absence & performance management across the team.
• Support the recruitment process.
• Complete accurate shift report and identify actions relating to performance
• Co-ordinate support for break downs.
• Support department activities for the delivery and reviewing of change controls, CAPA’s internal audit actions, TCU, SOP’s etc.
• Co-ordination of training across the department, maintaining accurate records on the department training matrix.
• Overall responsibility for Shift Performance, and identifying areas for improvement
• Ensure quality standards are maintained and support the Quality department as and when required.

Experience required

• 2/3 years proven experience in a manufacturing role
• Able to hold people accountable

• LEAN and 6s knowledge
