Job summary

We Are Swim, the UK’s leading premium Learn to Swim experience, is seeking a Team Leader to supervise lifeguard duties and support a teaching team at King David School. You will ensure safety, deliver high-quality learn-to-swim sessions for 3–11 year olds, and drive exceptional customer experience in a premium facility.

You will supervise the pool, engage customers through technology, attend trainings, and work as part of a team to deliver a standout experience.

Qualifications

• Fully funded training and qualifications provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service focused with commitment to quality and cleanliness.
• Able to work in an active, energetic sporting environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide lifeguard duties for learn-to-swim lessons for 3-11 year olds.
• Plan, deliver and review high quality, themed learn-to-swim lessons.
• Deliver exceptional customer care to swimmers and families both in and out of the water.
• Ensure safe provision and maintenance of all equipment.
• Complete and record health and safety checks daily, weekly and monthly.
• Help maintain a clean, safe facility for all users and staff.
• Demonstrate commitment to personal development through training and feedback.
• Be a positive role model encouraging children to reach their swimming potential.
• Assist with servicing customer enquiries, show rounds to potential members, and drive memberships.
• Attend regular training with the swim@ team to share best practice.
• Issue award badges and certificates to celebrate achievements.
