THIS VACANCY IS ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT EMPLOYEES OF NHS AYRSHIRE AND ARRAN

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader based at one of the following locations: Three Towns Resource Centre, Lister Street, Kilmarnock, or Ailsa Hospital.

What you will do:
  1. Be highly motivated; the role involves operational, managerial, leadership, and clinical work across various settings during a 24/7 period.
  2. Provide leadership and communication to support effective team working.
  3. Support and supervise your team, and be part of the wider unscheduled care management team.
  4. Work effectively with wider teams and stakeholders, delivering high-quality, evidence-based, person-centered care.
  5. Ensure the delivery of home treatment that meets service users' needs in Ayrshire & Arran, providing leadership, management, support, and supervision to staff.

Knowledge, training, and experience required:

- RMN qualification is essential.

- A full driving license is required.

- Experience in acute mental health nursing in the community and working in a crisis/home treatment team is desirable.

- Experience in management and excellent communication skills are necessary.

- Knowledge of current mental health policies and legislation is required.

- Interest in delivering training is desirable.

Hours:

37 hours per week.

Driving License/Car Ownership:

Essential for this role.
