Due to service expansion with the CAMHS Intensive Outreach Service (MacX) we are looking for a new mental health nurse to join our already established service. We would welcome individuals with a strong interest OR previous experience working with children and young people. This team provides person centred care to the most psychiatrically ill children and young people across Tayside. We predominantly use a community based model of care, with an aim to work in a collaborative way with families and our multi agency/third sector colleagues, to provide the best care possible. The MacX service work closely with different inpatient and residential settings across Tayside, and other areas across Scotland.
As a service we are committed to providing training and support to enhance your existing nursing skills. This service is invested in supporting on going personal and professional development in line with future nurse ambitions.
This post will report to the Nurse Team Leader within the MacX Intensive Outreach Service, this is a permanent post. The contracted base for these posts will be CAMHS, Dudhope House. Travel across the other localities within NHS Tayside will be essential to the role.
You must be a Registered Nurse in Mental Health or Learning Disability (RNMH RNLD).

Hours of work are: 37 hours per week and this is a Monday to Friday 9-5 service.
