Job summary

Sense Scotland are seeking a Team Leader to join our Housing Support Service in Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire. You will guide a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care and support, undertaking supervision, coaching, and monitoring to ensure tasks are completed in line with our core values.

You will lead the care planning process, review plans with individuals and families, and build strong relationships with the management team and other professionals to ensure coordinated support.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working directly with individuals who have complex care and communication needs.
• Natural leader who can motivate and guide colleagues and foster person-centred care.
• Valid UK Driving Licence required.
• Flexible to work across days, evenings and weekends.
• Strong IT and organisational skills to manage office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality care and support for individuals, meeting their needs.
• Lead by example with supervision, coaching and on-shift training of staff.
• Guide staff to deliver a flexible, person-centred service for service users and families.
• Manage staffing rotas and adjust for changes in needs or staffing.
• Oversee implementation and updating of individual support plans.
• Maintain accurate records and staff attendance, ensuring standards compliance.
• Support staff development and ensure competencies for person-centred care.
