Job summary

Glendale is seeking a proactive Team Leader to join our Hemel Hempstead team. You will assist the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in delivering programmed maintenance, manage on-site works, and supervise a small team.

Ideally you have horticulture qualifications, a valid driving licence, and good people management skills. You will work with a range of machinery, ensure health and safety compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement across our UK services.

Qualifications

• Ideally qualified in horticulture with a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Confident with people management and supervision.
• Able to adapt working techniques with a strong work ethic.
• Experience using small engine machinery.
• Good IT knowledge.
• Full clean driving licence.
• PA1 & PA6 desirable.
• Aware of Health & Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in delivering programmed maintenance.
• Take responsibility for on-site works, timekeeping, and productivity.
• Lead by example, motivate the team and maintain workforce discipline.
• Operate and oversee vehicles, machinery and equipment with proper checks and servicing.
• Undertake other duties as required by the Supervisor.
