Job summary

Glendale is seeking a Team Leader to join our South East team in the Hemel Hempstead area. The role offers a competitive annual salary and the chance to grow within a family-owned, environmentally driven company.

Ideal candidates will be horticulture-qualified with at least 3 years' experience, strong people-management skills, and a clean driving licence. PA1/PA6 is desirable; you will lead on-site teams, ensure health and safety, and coordinate maintenance works, with ample opportunities for

Qualifications

Ideally qualified in horticulture with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
Good people management skills.
Able to adapt to different working techniques with a strong work ethic.
Experience using small engine machinery.
Good IT knowledge.
Full, clean driving licence.
PA1 & PA6 is desirable.
Aware of Health & Safety legislation.
Reliable, conscientious, and able to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in the effective delivery of programmed maintenance.
Taking responsibility for on-site works, including timekeeping, productivity, visitor handling.
Proactively leading by example, motivating and guiding the team and maintaining workforce discipline.
Operating and ensuring safe use of vehicles, machinery and equipment, with daily checks and servicing.
Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required by the Supervisor.
