Job summary

Glendale is seeking a Team Leader for the Gloucester area. The role involves assisting the Supervisor and leading a team to deliver maintenance programs, manage timekeeping and productivity, and ensure safe operation of vehicles and machinery.

The ideal candidate will have horticulture qualifications, 3+ years’ experience, and strong people skills. A full driving licence is required; PA1/PA6 is a plus. The position offers career progression within a growing environmental services company.

Qualifications

• Ideally qualified in horticulture with a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Confident person with good people management skills.
• Adaptable to different working techniques with a strong work ethic.
• Experienced using a wide variety of small engine machinery.
• Good IT knowledge and literacy.
• Full, clean driving licence (PA1/PA6 desirable).

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in the delivery of programmed maintenance.
• Taking responsibility for on-site works, timekeeping, and productivity arrangements.
• Leading by example, motivating the team and maintaining workforce discipline.
• Operating company vehicles and equipment, ensuring daily checks and servicing.
• Undertaking other duties as reasonably required by the Supervisor.
