Salary Grade 9, £33,367.00 to £36,325.00 per annum + Standby allowance

We are seeking a dedicated, resilient and proactive Team Leader to manage our Environment Officers team. This role is key in ensuring that the Isle of Wight remains a safe, clean and attractive place for both residents and visitors.
In this role, you will oversee the management of a small but very busy team of Environment Officers who enforce Public Space Protection Orders, issue fixed penalty notices, conduct area inspections, and enforce environmental regulations to ensure a safe and well-kept environment on the Isle of Wight.
In addition to inspections, you will enforce environmental regulations to address issues such as littering, fly-tipping, graffiti, and dog fouling. Your efforts will help reduce these nuisances and promote a cleaner, healthier environment. You will also work closely with other departments and stakeholders, including town and parish councils, to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
