Victim Support has an exciting opportunity to help lead our specialist services for victims of crime in County. We are looking for a Domestic Abuse Team Leader to work in Cumbria.
The role is home-based with a requirement to work from our County-wide Victim Support offices, within the Police stations across the county.
The Domestic Abuse Team Leader provides operational support and management to a team of Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs) delivering frontline services to victims of domestic abuse in Cumbria, including those at the highest risk of harm and victims of rape and serious sexual assault.
Successful candidates will be flexible, proactive, and experienced in delivering services directly to clients in statutory, voluntary, or community settings. A proven track record in team management, performance management, and staff development is essential. Knowledge of the criminal justice, health, and social care sectors is also important.
