Job summary

Camphill Milton Keynes Communities is seeking a Team Leader to oversee the safe, day-to-day running of the Camphill service at The Moors/Stone Cottage. You will supervise care staff, lead shifts, and ensure high-quality, person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities.

The role requires mentoring staff, coordinating handovers, and following care plans and risk assessments while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience leading care teams and coordinating shift handovers.
• Experience supervising Camphill MK staff and ensuring quality care.
• Ability to work within care plans and assess risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead handover from Night to Day staff and from Day to Night staff.
• Lead the 8am Morning Meeting.
• Guide the Care Team according to care plans and risk assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date communication boards for all residents.
• Oversee medication processes and stock checks.
• Facilitate meaningful daily activities for residents.
• Ensure accurate records support care and home operations.
• Promote teamwork and manage health and safety checks.
