Job description

Children's Residential Home Team Leader - Senior

Overview:
  • We require a resilient Team Leader / Senior worker in our existing Ofsted registered Dual registered service in Southport.
  • The ideal candidate will work alongside our management team and must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential.
  • This role is a full-time position, and experience is essential.
  • We offer competitive rates of pay and pay asleep in duties at £60.00 per night, per shift.
  • A driving license is desirable due to the rural location.
  • Applicants must be aged 21+.

Duties include:
  • Taking point on shift and leading by example.
  • Delegating duties fairly amongst staff.
  • Training up new members of staff.
  • Participating in the on-call rota and taking out-of-hours calls when required.
  • Ensuring daily reports, health and safety checks, and care plans are completed and up to date.
  • Assisting with the support and ensuring the Child or Young Person's needs are always met.
  • Working in partnership with the Deputy Manager.
  • Assisting with supervisions and appraisals.
