Health Recruit Network is recruiting a Team Leader for a children's home in Barnet, London. You will support the Manager and Deputy Manager, guide the support team and ensure high-quality, trauma-informed care for children and young people with complex needs.
The role requires safeguarding commitment, a Level 3 in Health and Social Care Children and Young Adults (or willing to work towards it) and the ability to lead a team, with a 37.5-hour week, evenings and weekends, and occasional sleep-ins.
Location: Barnet, London
Salary: Up to £34,500 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with overtime available
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Rota: Three-week rolling rota, including evenings and weekends
Sleep-ins: Up to 8 sleeps per month, paid at £60 per sleep
We are working in partnership with a specialist children's residential care provider to recruit a Team Leader to join their home in Barnet. The home provides care and support to children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). The team takes a trauma-informed, child-centred approach, creating a safe and supportive environment where young people feel valued and able to develop. As a Team Leader, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the home. You will support the Manager and Deputy Manager, provide guidance to the support team and help ensure that the young people receive consistent, high-quality care.
