ID Logistics is opening a brand-new Rugby site and recruiting Team Leaders to drive operational excellence on a full-time, on-site basis. You will lead and motivate high-performing teams, orchestrate 6am–2pm shifts, and uphold safety and quality across dispatch and sortation.

Emphasis on process improvement, coaching, and data-driven decision making. You will collaborate across departments to maintain service levels, ensure stock accuracy, and deliver continuous improvements in a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • Experience leading and improving operational processes within a warehouse/logistics setting.
  • Proven ability to drive productivity and maintain high standards of service.
  • Willingness to study for a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Results-driven, process-first approach with change management ability.
  • Strong communication with colleagues, peers, managers and stakeholders.

We are opening our brand-new site in Rugby and are recruiting Team Leaders to drive operational excellence, lead and motivate high-performing teams, working a 6am–2pm shift.

About You:

Warehousing and operations will feel like home to you. You are experienced and confident in leading processes, with a proven ability to drive productivity, maintain high operational standards, and ensure excellent service for our customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead operational processes, ensuring they run efficiently and in line with ID Logistics standards and values.
  • Maintain strong communication across the operation to support clarity, alignment and smooth workflow.
  • Support continuous development of operational practices through coaching, guidance and process‑based feedback.
  • Conduct regular process reviews to assess performance, identify improvements and support operational excellence.
  • Deliver clear and effective shift briefs that keep colleagues informed of priorities, changes and key information.
  • Organise workflow and allocate tasks to ensure service levels and operational targets are met.
  • Complete all process‑related administrative activities in line with company policy, including accurate reporting and compliance checks.
  • Keep the customer at the centre of operational decisions, ensuring service quality is consistently maintained.
  • Drive operational KPI performance by monitoring process efficiency and understanding cost and service impacts.
  • Use operational data, trends and forecasts to support short‑and long‑term planning.
  • Take responsibility for Quality Control across dispatch and sortation processes.
  • Maintain stock accuracy and product security by ensuring strict adherence to agreed procedures and systems.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure aligned processes and strong site performance.
  • Keep Health & Safety at the forefront, conducting regular checks and maintaining safe working practices.
  • Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance customer outcomes.
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience leading and improving operational processes.
  • Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Holds, is working towards, or is willing to study for a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experienced in driving performance within a process‑driven, results‑focused environment.
  • Demonstrates a process‑first approach, maintaining high standards and consistency.
  • Agile and adaptable, with a strong ability to support operational change and new initiatives.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with colleagues, peers, managers and stakeholders.
