Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant / Team Leader to join our team based at The Paddocks Extra Care Scheme in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire OX7.
The Paddocks offers a mix of 44 one and two-bedroom apartments with on-site facilities including a hair salon, post office, restaurant, and therapy room. Residents participate in activities such as movie evenings, curling, bingo, and more.
As a Team Leader, you will support our extra care complex by providing specialised support to individuals. Radis recognises each person as an individual and offers a tailored service that meets their specific needs, ensuring a consistent approach throughout their lives.
You will also participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and housing-related support duties during emergencies.
Previous experience as a Team Leader is advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, working towards Level 3. Good written and verbal communication skills are required, along with a willingness to learn to meet clients' needs and expectations.
This role requires undergoing an enhanced DBS check.
