Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Team Leader to supervise a pub team at one of its Chef & Brewer locations. You will lead by example, ensuring every shift runs like clockwork, staff are supported, and customers are kept happy.

The role requires clear communication, problem solving, and a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading service teams in hospitality or pubs.
• Strong customer service focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage shifts and respond to busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a memorable experience on every visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve issues in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during busy shifts to keep things running smoothly.
• Ensure the bar is safe, legal, and clean, addressing issues quickly and safely.
• Demonstrate a can‑do attitude and be a positive team player.
• Communicate effectively in English to comply with allergen controls and safety standards.

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
  A great eye for detail, making sure every pint is poured to perfection.
• Be a role model to the team on giving great service and making sure every customer receives a warm welcome.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy shift.
• A positive can-do attitude and be a real team player.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
