Job summary

Movianto Tamworth is recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee shift operations and ensure workloads are completed to required standards. The role runs Monday to Friday, 20:00–04:00, 37.5 hours per week, with an annual salary of £28,784.01.

You will lead a team in a fast-paced pharmaceutical logistics environment, driving safety, performance metrics, and daily reporting to management. A comprehensive benefits package is provided, including pension and health services.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and ensure procedures compliance.
• First point of contact for warehouse operatives; manage workloads and SLA/KPI.
• Report daily activities to Government Contacts Manager and assist audits.
• Maintain company property and report faults; cover for the Government Contacts Manager in their absence.
• Oversee inventory duties: PI counts, quality schedules, stock management.

Purpose of the role:

To ensure that the daily workload is completed to the required standard, with the labour required and within the agreed timescales.

How you'll make an impact as a Warehouse Team Leader at Movianto:

• Promote a culture of safety and engagement by actively supporting teammates and ensuring adherence to all relevant procedures, including legal, environmental, ISO, SOP, WI, security, and health & safety standards.
• Serve as the first point of contact for warehouse operatives on your shift, ensuring effective communication, prioritizing workloads, and meeting departmental SLA, KPI, and RCA service levels.
• Report daily activities and operational issues to the Government Contacts Manager, participating in management meetings, site walk-rounds, and assisting with audits as needed.
• Ensure company property is properly maintained, reporting any faults, accidents, or issues immediately, and cover for the Government Contacts Manager in their absence, including client calls and business reviews.
• Manage inventory duties as needed, including overseeing PI counts, quality check schedules, and stock management, while remaining flexible with additional hours as determined by business and customer needs.

What it will take to thrive as a Warehouse Team Leader at Movianto:

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in an FMCG environment, with basic man-management and team-building skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience handling disciplinary procedures.
• Self-motivated team player, with a focus on delivering and managing KPIs and taking personal responsibility for high-quality work.
• Demonstrates honesty, credibility, punctuality, and awareness of customer satisfaction, showing interest in meeting customer needs.
• Confident in addressing clients and senior stakeholders, presenting data effectively, and adapting to new approaches while providing constructive feedback.
