Job summary

The Light is seeking a confident Team Leader to guide our team across food & beverage and leisure operations. You’ll lead busy shifts, ensure smooth service, and help guests enjoy a fun, safe, and memorable experience whether dining or taking part in activities.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in hospitality, leisure, or a fast-paced customer-facing role.
• Able to lead by example and maintain calm under pressure.
• Passionate about great service across food and leisure settings.
• Calm and organised when things get busy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable guiding guests in activities and encouraging participation.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team during shifts across food & beverage and leisure areas.
• Ensure exceptional service at the bar, kitchen, and on the floor.

We are The Light, providing a unique immersive experience that surprises and delights our guests across 14 locations in the UK. We offer a wide range of activities; cinema, bowling, karaoke, darts, mini golf, climbing walls, bars, and kitchens – we have it all!

We’re looking for a confident and outgoing Team Leader to help guide our team across both food & beverage and leisure operations.

Team Leader is ahands-on role, where you’ll support the team during busy shifts, ensure smooth service in all areas, and help guests have a fun, safe, and memorable time with us — whether they’re grabbing a bite to eat or scaling a climbing wall.

About You:

• Leadership experience in hospitality, leisure, or a fast-paced customer-facing role
• Friendly, confident, and able to lead by example
• Passionate about great service — in both food and leisure settings
• Calm and organised when things get busy
• A great communicator who works well with others
• Comfortable helping guests with leisure activities and encouraging them to get involved
• Flexible to work various shifts — including evenings, weekends, and holidays

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and support the team during shifts across food & beverage and leisure areas
• Ensure exceptional service is delivered every time at the bar, in the kitchen, or on the floor
• Help guests take part in activities confidently and safely, offering guidance when needed
