Job summary

National Care Group is seeking a Team Leader to manage staff and promote person-centred support within Affinity Supporting People South Limited, based in Morecambe.

You will lead frontline teams, ensure quality and wellbeing for clients, and take responsibility for back-office duties, compliance and on-call responsibilities. A Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or working towards it) and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care with focus on learning disabilities or similar needs.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team and develop staff.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for staff management and staff development.
• Lead the team to promote client wellbeing and quality of life.
• Monitor activities and liaise with external parties for effective communication.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and national standards.
• Complete and review internal quality systems; participate in on-call duties.

Leading the staff in promoting each clients well-being, safety and quality of life. Monitor and assist the effective delivery of group and individual activities within homes that address agreed client goals and the progress of clients against agreed outcome and well-being measures. Ensure that liaison with external parties within their areas of responsibility is coordinated effectively to ensure that communication is effective and consistent within the home.
